| 1. How can I get the latest NTUT prospectus ? |

The application form and the prospectus are available to download on our homepage. The deadline for applying is March 31st.

| 2. I am interested in NTUT; can I apply as international student status ? |
| |
If you do have the International Student Status and do not meet any following conditions, you can apply to NTUT as international student.
- His/Her father or mother was a national of the Republic of China when he/she was born.
- He/She was born after the death of his/her father or mother, and his/her father or mother was a national of the Republic of China at the time of death.
- He/She was born in the territory of the Republic of China, and his/her parents cannot be ascertained or both were stateless persons.
- He/She has undergone the nationalization process. Preceding subparagraph 1 and subparagraph 2 shall also apply to the persons who were minors at the time of the revision and promulgation of this Act.

| 3. What documents do I need to summit for the admission ? |

- Two copies of the application form
- Two copies of study plan in Chinese or in English
- Two copies of the diplomas and two English or Chinese translations of the diploma, which should be verified by the Taiwan Oversea Missions (or as confidential document send straight from the original school).
- Two copies of the transcripts and two English or Chinese translations of the transcripts, which should be verified by the Taiwan Oversea Missions (or as confidential document send straight from the original school).
- Letters of recommendation
- An original copy of your physical examination record within the past 6 months (including the HIV virus blood serum immunity test report)
- Proof of financial support (such as bank statement or scholarship). It should be verified by the Taiwan Oversea Missions n the country (or as confidential document send straight from the original school) if
the financial supports are not provided from organizations or bank in Taiwan.
- Other documents required by the department or institute that you are applying for (such as autobiography, TOEFL scores, GRE test).
Applicants are required to submit application forms accompany with sufficient documents to NTUT before end of March each year.

| 4. Do I have to take the Test of Proficiency-Huayu (TOP) in order to get the entry permit ? |
| |
| No, it will be depends on each departments whether they required you to summit the result of TOP. Please check the requirement with the department that you want to study at.
In addition, if you want to apply for Taiwan Scholarship, it will be a required document to summit.

| ５. If I do not meet the additional requirements, can I still apply to your school ? |
| |
| NTUT welcome all the talented students to apply even you do not meet the additional requirement. If you have other supportive documents it could be a plus during the evaluation. |

| 6. What kind of NTUT scholarship that I can apply ? |
| |
There are two kinds of NTUT scholarship programs. One is available for all the international students which is called《Scholarship Program for Foreign Students at NTUT》, we will announce the time for application every year. Another is called《NTUT Scholarship for International Graduate Students》, NTUT will automatically review your qualification for this scholarship and contents awarded , you do not need to apply for it.

| 7. I have not got the diploma due to I will graduate in this June. Can I submit the diploma later in June ? |

| It is fine for you to apply without your diploma right now. But if you cannot submit the diploma after June, NTUT has the right to cancel your admission. |

| 8. Do I still need to take English exam even I came from native English countries ? |
| |
All the undergraduate students need to take Practical English courses or past English exams in order to graduate according to the NTUT regulations. However, if you came from native English country, please fill in the “Practical English application form for native English speaker” to apply for taking the Practical English directly. |

| 9. How can I apply for NTUT dormitory ? |
| |
| Once you got accepted by NTUT, we will post you an Acceptance Form with accommodation application for the NTUT dormitory. |

| 10. Does NTUT provide airport pick-up service ? |
If you arrive in Taiwan between 9 a.m. to 9p.m. NTUT will provide airport pick-up service. However, please inform us your fight schedule at least two weeks
earlier. |
